Long Beach Fire Department Prospective Recruit Exercise Program: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This workshop at the Long Beach Fire Training Division (2249 Argonne Ave.) will introduce aspiring firefighters to the physical demands necessary for the job. Participants need to bring a mask, t-shirt, shorts, running shoes, water, pen, paper to take notes, work gloves and a good attitude.
