Rocky Launches CODE RED FIRE BOOTS - Fire Engineering: Firefighter Training and Fire Service News, Rescue

Rocky, an industry leader in public service footwear, has launched new fire boots for both men and women deemed compliant with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. Available in late spring 2022, the Code Red fire boots offer the ultimate in performance and protection for those fighting fires in a structured environment or in a wildland setting.

The boots are made from fire-resistant leather and the Vibram® Fire and Ice Compound outsole with durable side-stitch construction. Both styles offer a Stedfast thermal barrier and waterproofing along with bloodborne pathogen resistance. The Rocky Terra Suspension footbed is included for supreme comfort.

Code Red: Rescue is an eight-inch, composite toe boot that offers the Rocky speed lacing system and an optional lace-in zipper. The Rescue style is NFPA 1997 and 1999 compliant and meets ASTM F2413 protective toe, electrical hazard and puncture plate standards.

Code Red: Structure is a 14-inch pull-on featuring red accents and reflective highlights. It is NFPA 1971 compliant and meets ASTM F2413 protective toe, electrical hazard and puncture plate standards.

Both styles are available in men’s sizes 5-16 and women’s sizes 5-10. Suggested retail prices on the Code Red styles range from $353-$432.
