To ensure that people are not identifiable from our incident round-up, we will no longer be providing street names for smaller towns and villages, where incidents have occurred.

A crew from Whitby attended a lineside fire caused by a passing steam traine. There were multiple seats of fire. Crews used an alcon pump and jet, knapsack sprayers and beaters to ectinguish.

A crew from Scarborough attended a grass fire on the cliff edge, knapsack sprayers were used to extinguish the fire

A crew from Scarborough gained access to a property and assisted an elderly female from the floor and into a chair using crew power

A crew from Richmond used ring cutting equipment to remove three rings from a female.

A crew from Huntington attended a report of an alarm sounding, this was a false alarm due to a fault on the system

A crew from Harrogate attended a report of an alarm sounding, this was a false alarm due to a fault on the system.

Crews attended a small fire in the open consisting of grass and vegetation, knapsack sprayers were used to extinguish the fire.

A crew from Scarborough attended a report of an alarm sounding, this was a false alarm due to a smoke machine.

A crew from Grassington attended a report of an alarm sounding, this was a false alarm due to a fault on the system

Crews from Ripon, Northallertonand Thirsk attended a tractor and baler on fire, one hose reel and beaters along with farm vehicles were used to extinguish the fire.#

Crews from Northallerton and Bedale attended a combine fire, this was out on arrival, inspection only.

A crew from York assisted police to make a hybrid vehicle safe by isolating the power.

A crew from Malton extinguished three wheelie bins in woodland that had been deliberately ignited, hose reel jets used.

Crews from Northallerton, Ripon and Knaresborough attended a fire to three fields, two hose reel jets are currently in use to extinguish the fire.

Crew from Malton,  Acomb and Tadcaster responded to a combine harvester on fire. This had then spread to a standing corn field. Fire measured approx 200sq metres. The farmer created a fire break in the corn field and crew extinguished and dampened down the area.

Crew from Scarborough responded to reports of a small fire in the area. They located a fire made of of waste. Crew used 1 hose reel jet and a rake to extinguish.

Crews from Pickering and Selby responded to a combine harvester on fire. This then spread to surrounding field. Crews extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets and thermal imaging camera.

Crews from Huntington and Tadcaster attended reports of a car that had exploded and then set fire to a number of nearby hay bales. Crew extinguished an otter pump with 1 branch, 1 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and puitchforks.

Crew from Scarborough attended reports of a tractor on fire pulling a trailer full of straw bales. On arrival crew extinguished the fire to the tractor using 1 hose reel jet. The trailer of straw was not affected.
