In another blow to China’s domestic consumption crisis, authorities have told residents even outside of lockdown areas to stay put during two major coming holidays.

The added restrictions on travelers from even low-risk areas come as China has locked down more economically important cities in 2022 than at any time during the pandemic, according to data from Everstream.
